Angel Ride - Nov 5th & 6th

Angel Ride .... Who will be there? This is a very good time and there are usually 2 to 3000 bikes.

We attended last year. Even got my daughter to ride with me. She said she was going to throw candy this year as we make the loop. I have never seen so many people on the side of the road waving at all the bikers. Great time for sure.

Duh me, was looking at LAST month on the calender instead of next month.

Figured it was awful weird if so. I work every fri-sat unless I really push for it off.

Me and debi will be there. The angel ride is a must do kinda thing.

Alright... Angel ride is coming up this weekend. Going to be a nice crisp cool day which is good so the field doesn't turn into a muddy mess.

Me and Debi plan on going. We usually go around mid morning to have time to see all the vendors and we also enter the bike show. Don't really care if we win anything but it is the best parking spot there for the money and it all goes to a good cuse anyway.

Agreed. I usually try and get there around 11.

I went by there today on my way home and the place is already packed. The stages were set up... lots of vendors were set up and it looked like a camper city already.

Took a pic while doing a drive by..... You can kind of make out all the campers that were already there yesterday.

Made the angel ride, beautiful day a little chilly and really chilly on the way home but overall a good day. Ride took 2 hours 35 minutes really slow this year for some reason.

Probably slow because last year people took off as if it were a road race. Several bike accidents happened. Some pretty bad. So as usual, the pendulum swings the other way and they went real slow and more cautious this time. Different route too as they did not go thru Robertsdale and down 59. It was a cool ride....literally. I bailed on the concert......probably a good concert but way too cold for me to sit out there that late.

It was a little slow and cold, but was a good time. I am always impressed at how they can coordinate 3000 bikers.

There is a bike show today at 11am I think at Ft. Conde in Mobile. Put on my the Mobile Bay Vintage Mcycle group. They also to the Dauphin Island show every year. I guess they had a big tujrn out last year. Anyway, that is going on today over there. I believe it only costs $3 to enter and they have quite a few different classes to enter into.
I am headed over to the gun show at the Robertsdale Colliseum today. You always need to support the gun shows!

Oh... freakn tag broke off and was hanging by the tag light wire right next to the belt. Good thing it was a slow ride or it could have been bad.

Welded up a beefier new one. All good now.

Me too. Had I known it was like that, I would have pulled off and stuffed it in the solo bag and kept going. Either way, it is fixed now and I still have 2 out of the 3 belt guard tabs left.
