2012 Angel Ride ---- Nov 1, 2, 3

This event just gets bigger and bigger.

It is a great ride and event. We did it several years ago and got hooked and have been going every year.

The ride is always on Saturday and hard for me to make. I will try again this year. Maybe I can get that day off.

Yep, that Saturday thing wipes me out.

This is a good one . I always enjoy it .

Reminder that this event is this weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have near the time I use to for riding..... But I will be at this one for sure.

Event is a no go for me also, been out working 3 weeks again and busting my butt to finished home chores just to get out and ride this Sunday.

Went by there this morning to set up the forever wild tent. My bike will be there at the tent. If any of you are there, come by and see me. Ask for Justin.

Looks like they are anticipating a huge turn out as there were a lot of vendors setting up.

I see too many wrecks on the group ride and hear the horror stories every year. Great purpose, but I would skip the group ride part. I might swing by, But wont ride with that many untrained riders.

There are some good riders mixed in too I am sure, but as a gruop you are only as strong as the weakest rider.

There are always a few bad apples, but that doesnt mean dont go. Nobody would ever leave their house with that philosophy. Besides, the grass area usually weeds these people out. See you guys there.

Whoa there killer, I never said dont go. Just riding in a group of highly nivice riders usually ends badly. Last year a biker was trying to override their ability trying to keep up with the slinky group adn ended up running off a curve follwed by a ride in an ambulance. Every year its the same thing. I just wish those that cant ride would stay out of the group, but thats never going to happen.

I dont stay home, I ride solomost of my miles ( thats my strategy), Been doing it for years and several hundred thousand miles. I just dont like group riding with people that have no clue how to group ride. I guarantee there will be more in the group that dont have a clue, than there are riders that know how to group ride correctly.

Unfortunately I have to work. Tried to get sat off but didn't work out. Everyone ride safe and be careful.

I even saw Phantom there...I was thinking he had actually become a phantom or ghost but he was there in real life.....riding that Sporty! Good to see ya buddy!

Fantastic weather! Pretty neat when you can do a ride like that in November with just a Tshirt on. We got home around 7pm...dark......but still 73 degrees!

I took home the first place trophy in Sidecar category!!! But then....I had the only sidecar in the bike show. I prefer it that way!

Debi got second place in Metric touring....she actually had competition.

These bike shows are like the lottery.....if ya don't play...ya can't win!

Overall.....super November day!

Congrats on the win jmunsey.
I didn't get a chance to go had to work. We printed all the T-shirts for the event (took a couple days) and had to work Sat. to play "catch up" with the regular orders.
We donate the artwork every year, great event for a great cause. Can't believe its been 11 years now....time does fly.
