Yep just waiting on conformation from the man, but that was too dangerous to try and I am not doing it again, I just knew that cop was going to pull me over to find out what I was doing, he followed me all the way back to the cannon then took a right.

Wonder if it was the same cop that was watching me at the Park by the train?

I am thinking no more major intersections because I just aint going to do it!
The police car watched me circle it in traffic and then finely stop where I did, and wait till the traffic slowed to take a picture....If I was him I would have pulled me over before I had a chance to make it that far

Well poop. My next tag was going to be the intersection of I-10 and I-65 at 5:15 on Friday........ but now........

Just kiddin. Agreed safety should be of a concern. I am surprised the traffic was that high on a Sunday afternoon at that intersection though. BUt I know the gas station you mentioned. I go there a couple times a week, its the closest to my office and cops are thick at that store.....mostly because he gets robbed or has ex employees breaking windows, or gas pumps etc. etc.......and thats WITH the cops hangin there.

Downtown Mobile, it is a "special" place.

If this is approved, I picked a very relaxed place out of the Getto, and plenty of eye candy today....WhoHoooo!

That cop was there when I took my photo too. Probably off duty security for that gas station.
That's a busy intersection for sure. I pulled up on the sidewalk to get it. No one seemed to mind. The last time I was hassled for that sort of thing was at the Mobile Public Library parking lot downtown. I parked on the sidewalk up close to the door and ruffled the feathers of the rent-a-cops there. There are four or five of them on duty most times. I guess the librarians get nervous with all those homeless hanging out there. Of course the guards get bored so it doesn't take much to get their attention and arouse a reaction.
