kawasaki KZ1000 police bike project.

I got a call several days ago about a KZ1000 police bike project here in Mobile. Guy said it turns over but he is chasin his tial trying to get spark. Wants it gone. Has a clear title and he is askin $100 OBO for the bike. DISCLAIMER- I have never seen this bike, but for $100 it soulnds like a good project for someone. if your interested drop me a PM and I will give you his contact info. I dont know this guy and never saw the bike. its located near Moffett road and university. JUST a FYI post.

You got the money and you go see it and it's complete and workable otherwise, GET IT. Then PM me, I will pick it up, no problem. And pay you $25 for your trouble.

Ya'll may be getting a little overexcited. This bike may be usable and it might not be worth the gas to go get it. i dont know. just seeemd liek soemthing I should pass along sincce i wasnt going to get it.

From what he says, its basically a basket case. No biggie, something for me to do. Was going over there and pick it up today, but it's about to come a flood here. Just left him a voicemail message and said I would get it wed if possible and that I would take it.

HMM basket case was not the way he put it to me. But hey glad you know what your getting into. He told me he couldnty get fire, but it sounded to me like the bike was supposed to be pretty complete. Hope it works out for you.

Yes, that was my main motivation for getting it. So our broke co worker could possibly get it running on the cheap. Will catch up on it Monday and update.
