NEED cheap project bike

FIRST OF ALL,,,, i would like to say i felt welcome at the bike show, it was just a spur of the moment decision to go over and meet yall, i really felt like i was among my peers, THANK YOU

I'VE been thanking about getting an old inline four (honda or suzuki or yamadog) to make a pro street bike,
i'm sure yall have seen them, big motor, air shifter, big back tire.
something like a gs1100 or a kz900 or even a cb900 honda. or an old fj1200
i don't want a full on drag bike (done that, been there.) just something to mess and gome with.
just something to put on the lift and throw money at every now and then.
the racing has dried up around here, so i thought i would just build something different, that i could drive on the street
i still love to hear one go thru the gears,
i love my victory, but i want something nasty on the side, lol lol

any suggestions

we have a few street bikes, playing on friday nights, but no bar bikes
are you taliking about mobile or atmore.
i would love to see some fast bar bikes run

Same here!

I only got one fast bike. And she tweren't cheap.


But I will keep an eye out and see what comes up for you.

there's a yamaha 1100 on Mobile CL right now. I think it was 900 or 800.

well my search is over
one of my friends gave me a sohc 750 motor
i think i will build a chopper, maybe a bobber ,
i have to rebuild it , so that should keep me busy for awhile .

Well lets do a ride to Mobile and put our bikes on the track. Then do a ride to Montgomery and watch the fast bikes.

I'm not great out of the hole on this bike, I'm trying not to lower it or stretch it because I love the twisties. so if anyone wants to get me its at the line. but your going to have to bring it cuz she really winds out once my feet are up
