ThunderBeach 2012

I will be doing a day trip also but don;t know which day I will be going yet..or if I can go....some are going down on Friday on a day trip starting from near Daphne and down along US 98 thru Gulf Breeze etc...but I will be departing from Near Pace since we will be moved in by the first of May. I should have a better ideal next week and will let you know.

Gulf Breeze would be a good meeting place. We'll have people coming from Gulf shores, Fairhope, maybe Mobile and other places that way. Maybe do a breakfast meet. I'd like to be on the road heading that way about 7ish. I really wanted to leave about 4 am

Beachbum....I spent 5 years living in the Bahamas on the beach, another 5 years down in Palm Beach FL, grew up and went to school and college in panama city living near the beach but never had to put up with the $%^$% assholes like here in gulf shores on vacation.. and could give a s^% about anyone trying to get to work etc.. I am lucky enough to be able to live anywhere I want as long as I have good access to an airport. Not much of a culture shock since I have lived all around the US and will still be able to go to the beach whenever I want to....on the plus side I will get to ride more without getting stuck in vacation traffic.

actually i love the area north and east or west of milton nice back roads between milton and brewton area. my dad was born at munson crossroad and mom was born in the escambia farms area . i have been considering buying some property on indian ford road. like you i hate all the traffic around pissacola and hate how big it has grown in my lifetime, born here and never have lived more than fifteen miles of downtown and grew up on the west side close to lillian alabama . we go on vacations to places thinking maybe we would like to relocate but always seem to realize there just aint nothing like good ol East LA aka pensacola.fl

hope to run into some of the sams gang in pc this week will be staying at raccoon river campground if anyone needs anything come on by and
Miss G we can still find you a safe spot to stay if you decide to stay over night (heading down there around 9am wed )

I am heading down to TB tomorrow morning and coming back the same day.
Leaving from pace so if anyone is heading down there let me know and we can meet up somewhere and ride down. I will not be doing interstate since I like the 55 mph cruise speed and seeing the sights. Want to leave by no later than 8am and avoid any long traffic lines when down there so run the main roda off the beach to reach spots of interest/bars/parties.

observations from here 1 frank brown park has gotten smaller with less vendors etc. (kinda boring there) seems like everything is getting spread out with vendors setting up at some of the bigger bars even edgewater mall seems watered down during the day not sure about at night we chilled at the campgrounds with a lot of s*it talking an socializing. havnt made it to the boardwalk yet maybe sat. other than that there is a shitload of people here tons an tons of beautiful bikes n babes Peace bum_
btw the cops are not playing well with others and have no sense of humor
