I never had any idea there were so many things/events around here geared towards bike riders. Wow, awesome!

I hope to make that one as well. But Daytona happens before Tbeach....that is usually the kick off of the season. Problem is that it is usually feast or famine....some weekends there are so many bike events going on it is hard to decide which one to go with...and some weekends nothing...then there is always the rain!

Worse part of the rain is not really riding in it.....it is that have to clean the bike thing afterward!

I'll be happier when I actually get to meet some people here. I'm not a shy person but it's always more fun going to things and knowing someone there.

W do need to start up a regular get together thing. Maybe pick some bar/restaurant or something and just meet up once a week or so. Always better to be able to put a face to a name or login. Also helps pass the non-riding season away.

Any ideas?

Big Daddy's over on the Fish river in Fairhope
Burn Outs over in Saraland
Florabama

I am sure there are many more...any other ideas out there?

That Champs place where we had the bike show last summer wasn't bad either.

I think something in daphne. Some of us live in mobile.

The only places that I can think of in Daphne are Hooters on 98 and that other place called Bimini Bobs Grill...been wanting to go there as it looks interesting but havent been yet.

I know there's a group that does a really early breakfast at the Oasis on I-10 every Sat but why not a brunch or lunch? We could meet and then discuss other places. Just a thought.

Almost afraid to ask about the Flash Mob thing.

The Oasis bunch are nice people but way too early for me. I used to go up there but have a hard time getting out of bed that early on a Saturday morning. I like the idea of a brunch or lunch better.

yeah I like to do the whole saturday morning late sleeping thing too

That would be fun and the weather wouldn't matter.

I am relatively certain that I am going riding today. It is 48 now with clear skies and supposed to get up to 60 today with clear skies. This time of year...it doesn't get much better than that...so for lack of any better forethought...I am probably gonna head down to Big Daddy's on the Fish River.....off 32...east of 181 at get there around 1pm or so......do some wings a a few beers....all of ya'll can fire up those scoots and come on down as well...if ya cant ride..come on down anyway...big parking lot with bike parking and cage parking. Not sure where to after that!

Hmmm...now that's a thought. Temp isn't too bad but don't know if the shoulder is up for a ride or not. Might just wrap my big red ram around me and come along anyway. Would be nice to get out and to meet and greet!

I'll be there! I'll have to take my truck. Damn shoulder anyway. Don't know who I'm looking for but I'll be in a purple flannel shirt & jeans. Red Dodge Ram. My Dyna will have to wait for another day.... *sigh*

It was really nice down at Big Daddys today. I hate that no one else was able to come but I got to meet JMunsey and his wife Debbie. We had a good meal and enjoyed some fun conversation.

It was a nice ride too...although a tad bit cooler on the way home. Hopefully a bigger turn out next time.

I go down there to see the vendors and ride around and see other bikes because im pretty sure that you are gonna see a bike that you have never seen before i know i did, there is places to get something to eat and at dark time i like to see how other bikes have their lights done so there has to be more reasons to go down there as well as knowing someone down there.
