Hi there all. I have only been riding for about a year now and am riding a 1982 yamaha maxim 550. Any other xjers give me a shout out. I do have some pics but she is a work in progress and not very pretty as of yet.

A maxim huh? Nice ride. Welcome to the forum. We really dont care how bad she looks. As long as you can ride her. Pic would be nice to show how far you've come with her. cheers

Sad to say she has actually gotten worse off since I got her. Having dropped her a few times now.

Sorry man. But it's the only way to learn. All you can do is ride it and learn the do's and dont's.

+1 on pics of the maxim. I've got a weird thing for 80's Jap bikes... And 70's Jap bikes... and 60's Jap bikes... aw hell, I love 'em all.
