New bike rider
Hello from Magnolia Springs. Not sure if this site is just for Harleys or not but I have a 1991 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 with Harley pipes so can I be a member?..... ....lol Look forward to meeting up and riding some this spring and summer. Will get some pics up soon. Wife and I are looking forward to making some new friends.

You are welcome. We don't discriminate. If you ride on two wheels then you came to the right place. Welcome from west mobile.

Re: New bike rider
Welcome from West Mobile, makes no diff what you ride, just ride what feels good for you and your wife. I do suggest that if you are new to motorcycling or just returning to take a course. I work for Alabama Motorcycle Safety Program http://www.montevallo.edu/atsc/motorcycle/
We have both BRC I & BRCII courses and teach here on the causeway at the new AIDT center. There are a few other local companies that teach MSF courses as well.

Re: New bike rider
Just my 2 cents worth again...adjusted for inflation!!!
I taught that MSF basic course back in the 90's for a few years. I sincerely feel that taking that course is the best life insurance you can buy. It is well worth what ever they charge for it these days. When I took it for about the 4th required refresher when I was in the military.....it was required!!...I finally realized that I could have avoided a number of accidents with my bike if I had known half of what they were teaching. I don't care how long anyone has been riding, that is a great and worth while class to take. Take Fred up on it!!
