This place has turned into a ghost town

Side note: I did that ride with Miss G last Sunday. Loved it! Had more fun doing that then I have had on a lot of other poker runs and events. We need to do that more often....say....every weekend!!!!????

Thanks Jim! It WAS a lot of fun!! I'm going to a place sometime today down at the Wharf to check it out.... The owner approached me on another ride recently. He would love to tap into the biker clientele. Soooo...will check it out and decide if it's a good run or not.

I haven't gone as of yet. Not feeling super perky today. Don't know if I'm just tired, trying to comr down with something or if I'm fighting the lingering effects of a touch of food poisoning.

Hey! Today is Veterans day....free meals at Olive Garden, Applebees, and Chili's. I may head down to the Applebees in Foley for lunch...then head over to Chili's on 90 for dinner (gotta get there before 5pm today.

Then tomorrow....free boneless wings at Hooters. Anyone else game?

After that...crash diet!

What kind of proof of being a vet is needed? I don't have an ID card....

Aside from ID card: dd-214, American Legion or VFW card to show you belong to veteran org, picture of yourself in uniform,or citation or commentation

Big shout out to Applebee's and Chili's today. We rode down to Applebee in Foley for that free steak dinner for lunch....then across the border to the Pcola area to do some shopping....no...Debi did that...I found the bar at a nearby shrimp basket.......then headed back and got to the Chili's on 9 mile road just before 5pm...got another free meal...Debi brought home a box from both places,,,got to Chili's at just the perfect time....happy hour and two for ones....I love those! Just pulled in a few minutes ago.Pretty sure I racked up a few hundred Deuce Coupe miles this weekend! I think O'Charleys and Hooters has free meals tomorrow.

I am really starting to like this getting free stuff thing....maybe I will become a democrat and Obama supporter after all!

I wish I had felt better and could've joined you. My day ended with me and a friend doing emergency "surgery" on the drain in my garden tub. Today is taking my jeep to wally world and getting a battery and tires. *sigh*

Serious heartburn today and nothing seems to be easing it.

I'm trying to put together a BONfire for mid January. Most will have to cage it but it's a chance to get together and just have some fun. It will be at my place in Robertsdale. There's plenty of room for tents, campers and such. BYOB, of course.

Start a new thread for that. Sounds like fun.

I would like to ride this Saturday. Anyone game.
