I'm still around, been going thru a lot. More than I would like to be. But all is well, up to about 101,600. Lovong it. Prayer warriors keep me lifted up, I doing Abraham, This to shall pass.

I'm over 102,000 know, I slowed down some, got spoiled, got a cage! It actually hurts my butt more driving the cage than riding! Guess I'm made to ride!

I'm over 42 now and at a standstill because of my knee...but after that, I'm back at it...as often as I can get out of my stupid road.

I have wanted to do that for some time as I have never been down there yet. My thoughts so far...nothing definite yet....is to combine a trip to the keys with Biketoberfest in Daytona. Head down the west coast of FL...across Alligator Alley or some other more interesting road to Miami and then down to Key West. Stay 2-3 days...then head up the east coast of FL to Daytona...spend 2-3 days at Biketoberfest......then head home. Still possible this year as Biketoberfest is in October so should be great weather...hurricanes permitting.

I am very familiar with South Florida. I can give some advice on routes as far as scenery goes. Alligator Alley is I-75 from Fort Myers to Miami. BORING!!! You want to take Tamiami Trail from Naples to Miami. Big Gators as close as 50 feet from the road. (don't worry, it's safe). Keep in mind if staying in Motels in the Keys during fall and winter rates will be at their highest. Summers in S. Florida and the Keys are actually cooler than here. 100 f days are ultra rare down there.

Congrats..Brother and you are right it is getting more hazardous out on the roads today. Too many drivers,texting,talking and sometimes sleeping while they try to run your asss over!! Even the loud noise my bike makes does not work as much as it use too..damn boom boxes in cages louder than my shovel..! Stay safe.

I'm working on 140, haven't been riding like I used to do. It.s been a while actually, I couldn't tell you what the odometer is reading right now. Had some work done, right after 110k the front triple tree bearings went, so I broke down and powder coated the brackets, wore out the swing arm and most of the rear parts. mostly riding to and from work, and down the eastern shore. Lost count of back tires. Still under warranty, purring like a kitten. I love my Momma and appreciate she gave me her ride, but it made me soft! Ride free, ride far, be safe.
