Ah, the warranty thing.... in that case they will ask you where it happened. You'll say "Florida" and then they will say....." since you crossed into Florida that voided the warranty".

Nah. I have a friend working in the service dept now. So MAYBE I wont have those problems.

Are the bearings considered "wear" items that aren't covered under warranty? I guess we will find out.

I asked them this morning before I unloaded the bike and he told me that the wheel bearings are covered under the extended warranty. So I really dont care if it is or not. I will hold them to their word.

Call me before they piss you off so I can go up there and watch you trash the place

Well........I was told there is nothing wrong with it. The tech rode it and it made the noise at first and then quit. Never made another noise. I told them they need to ride it again. Because if I ride it to P'cola and have to trailer it back. They were not going to like me the second time around.

I also had them check the fuel guage again and was told they still can't find anything wrong. Then I had them look up the last repair and found that they put the wrong sending unit in it.

I'll be so glad when the warranty is up. Then I wont be inclined to take it to them. I'll just do the repair myself.

Just sold the honda. Can't afford to work on both. It's not the fact that it's a HD. It's the fact that I TOOK it to HD.
