Take heart, I am sure you have it going on far more than my last "Broke his Harley Cherry" buddy of mine in Louisiana. Was dying for one and wanting it yesterday, so I managed to get him a decent deal on an 883. Now I WARNED him to get loctite and check all his bolts at least every two weeks ( he rode it to work daily ) and loctite the ones that came loose.

About a month later he comes chugging up to my garage, his ride all sorts of freaking out and running like total crap. He's freaking out, so I go do an all around check....his carb is about two threads short of falling off....
So I fix that and rip his ass...about two days later he comes by with a bag full of all colors of loctite....
