I will try latter got some things to do before the wife gets home! I think the pic of the cook broke my camara.

You know they are going back to the 5.0L in the new mustangs. They just can't keep up with chevy.

Never raced mine at the track. but I have done a lot of bolt ons trick flow upper intake, ported polished throttle body,diablo sport tune, 373 ford racing gears,steeda tri ax shifter magnaflow catback, off road x pipe (no cats) hawk brake pads,slotted drilled rotors,17x10.5 rears with 315-35-17 tires,17x9 fronts with 275-40-17 tires. but if you have a chevy and would like to try just saying.

Sorry. The only one I could put you up against is a 2003 vett. Putting down 568 hp to the ground. BUT, he sold the car and I can attest that you really don't want to mess with it. I really don't want to start the bickering About who is better or faster. I wish he still had the vett so I could set you up with him.
It is a true statement FROM ford that they will be going back to the 5.0L to get the hp back where it needs to be. It's hard to build a 4.6L to run with the 6.0L in the chevy and dodge.

Was going with a kenny bell supercharger but I got my bike and kind of forgot about it . Its what you do to em when you get them. I had a 69 mustang when I was a teen 302- boss 302 cam, 650 holley double pumper, eledbrock manifold, 411 gears, headers, we would out run 454 cheys stop light to stop light and anything else, but of course not top end geared to high.

So you have tryed to build one?

Have checked out the Cobras? They are some 4.6s laying down 5-600 horsepower. If a stock vett w'ont out run a gt mustang something is wrong. It coast a h%ll of a lot more.

Hey Mick. Not trying to start any BS. I just mentioned that they were going back to the 5.0L. I personally don't own ANY hotrod. Really dont keep up with it all that much. But seeing that I work in the automotive field. I do hear more than my fair share. You have a nice car. I wish everyone would stop thinking that I am against them. This is not a forum to start argument's. It is here to promote the brotherhood of motorcycle entusiast's. I did not say you had a slow car. I did not tell you it was ugly. I simply stated the new engine for the mustang. Sheesh. Can't we all just get along?

Hey Mick...sounds like you are building Noahs ark! I would love a Mustang even with a 4 cylinder! Ted would'nt let me get a Shelby or the GT...so I settled for the fake Shelby with a V6...../grumble! But like I said I just love them! and I do love my car..just not on a pretty day!

It's kewl. I just don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to ruffle any feathers. Deann sent me a pm the other day thinkin I was mad. Not at all. I guess I just worded it wrong. My apoligies Mick. Just thought you might want to know about them going back to the bigger engine.

And yes I have owned a 1966 mustang with a 289 layin down about 500 to the ground. Very fun and super fast. That was the last hotrod I owned before I got into bikes. I was 17 at the time

No big deal I took the pics of the car off. as not to cause any more trouble. I know this is not a car site.Just kind of sounded like a kick to my car. I do know about the bigger 5.0 they are all back to the musle car wars, I bought it new just as a toy not to race, it's an 01 only has 30k on it and has won about 25 awards at car shows. But it will hold its on.

I was 44 before I could afford a gt. wish I had a Shelby, Iam as close as I will ever get to owning one. Thanks for the nice words about my car.

Ford sent me a packet...I can turn my V6 into a Shelby for about 20k more! Ted said no... lol

I have had several mustangs, Camaros, Chargers, etc etc etc.....I feel the same about cars as I do bikes. Ride what makes ya happy. I was just razzin ya over it, I likely would have posted more than one pic in the mix myself.


Personal note....everyone stop walkin on eggs, I figure 99.9% of us are FOS anyway, concerning "givin shit" to everyone else about anything else as it is.... That's what makes it fun, isn't it?

Keep that shyte up, I will start postin pics of mopeds and lawn mowers.....
