Earplugs & Tunes while riding Empty Earplugs & Tunes while riding

If you like to listen to music while you ride, these work really well. I enjoyed the built in speakers on my venture, but that is not an option for the FJR.

I use this setup with our Sena SMH10 bluetooth headsets, Mel uses Ear plugs and built-in speakers in her helmet, but my hearing is not good enough for that.

They sell this stuff in a small quanity in the shooting hearing protection at Bass Pro, it is $9 for enough to make 1 pair.
They also sell it in a lot larger amount, probably enough to make 50 pairs at Michaels.

The stuff @ Michaels, in the clay/sculpting section, found it on the bottom shelf for $19.

After using them a couple of months mine are slowly eroding a bit, but I bought the stuff from Michaels also and will just make another set in a month or so, but they really do well to block out the wind noise.

I find the one that plug in the ear stay pretty good! I stuff them in there and turn up the Volume. I of course listen to Cristian music, so it aids in Cage defense, when I lift my hands to praise the Lord!

I need to try something like that....right now...the wind just just goes in one ear and right back out the other one.....just kinda whistles.

Jaded, that's a funny pic you got there! Jmunsey, It may have been you, looked like your Softtail. I'd know you for sure on the Side car!

On my FJR I have a zumo 550 and a scale rider teamset.Seperate Tunes, phone, helmet to helmet and GPS. No earplugs, works great. Earplugs/earbuds start hurting my ears after 4-5 hours of use.
