Weekly get together at the Oasis

I heard that every Saturday morning a bunch of folks meet at a Truckstop/diner called "Oasis Travel Center" just north of I-10 on County road 64 (exit 53). I heard the same thing from 2 different people. Have to get up early though...rumor has it they meet at 7:00 for breakfast, then organize some rides and head out. I was going to check it out tomorrow morning. I did a search on this and got some info dated back to 2007. So maybe everybody already knows about this. Can anyone confirm this rumor?

Well...The best laid plans of mice and men...I got up early to go to check it out and my wife informed me that we needed to go to Foley and get free concert tickets. We decided that a get together at Oasis could wait until next weekend for a free concert! WooHoo!

Went to Oasis yesterday. Great turnout! Largest number of awesome bikes I have seen in one place at one time in a while. Moto Guzzis, Aprillias, tons of BMWs even a brand new R1200GS. What an incredible bike! Great bunch of guys and gals, really good breakfast. I highly recommend this trip. It's definitely worth getting up early!
