I was thinking..
It would be cool if there was a section here for motorcycle shops and stores.. Like the local ones around here..
Just like a list of where they are.. Are they any good? Bla..
Like Retro Cycle Works in Fairhope. There is some place in Daphne on 64? I think its a sport bike place? Also a place just opened up on Springhill in Mobile by I-65.. I want to check them out..
I just like to know whats out there. Oh yeah,.. The Hog pen in Foley.. Been there once or twice.. Also theres a cool bar on hwy98.. Prestons? Irish pub? With S&S cycles next to it.. They are always closed on Saturday.. Coolies leather by fish river.. Did they close? Did you know there is a Victory dealer hidden in Robertsdale? Or is it Loxley?
You know what I am getting at? Whats around here.. In our area.. For motorheads.
It would be cool to have a section of the site dedicated to it.. Good for us.. Good for the local economy.

Re: I was thinking..
place on 64 in daphne has made alot of my customers mad including a guy from the forum here, he might chime in. S&S is great guys and they do good work, the hawg pen is a toss up in my opinion, but that is because I got caught up in the drama of the seperation

The Leather Hut is in Theodore, not but a few miles South of I-10 on Hwy. 90. Its just past the road to Bellingrath Gardens. Super good folks who run it. A good selection of jackets, chaps and shirts. Various other biker needs items, sunglasses, helmets, belts, saddlebags, and the likes. Horizons boots, in the same storefront, I believe its called also. A family business and again, super nice, good people.
Leather Locker is across from the Mobile Harley shop. Chris is usually in there and she is great to work with. I believe she is the 3rd biggest Kury dealer in the state. She has helped me many times with whatever I needed. She spends time helping YOU find whatever YOU need/want.
Those are the only 2 places I know of right off the bat. There is something that just recently opened in Saraland but I have not had a chance to get in there.
There is a shop in Brewton, for those who want to make a road trip one Saturday morning, Murder Creek Customs. Just the name is cool to me lol. They have some nice T-shirts and some other odds and ends. They are also a used bike dealer. Had some cool rides a few weeks ago when I stopped in and picked up the wife and I a t-shirt.
Hope this helps.

Re: I was thinking..
I think the place on 64 specializes in sports bikes (Motorsports Freaks, I think is the name). It's just around the corner from me.
The leather shop down past Weeks Bay is closed now.
I was down on 98, and it looked like the Irish pub is closed and there's a "For Rent" sign in front of it.
Yep, there's a Victory shop just south of Loxley and less than a 1/2 mile south of that is a place with my noseprints all over their windows (since they're always CLOSED ON SATURDAYS!), Performance Cycle.
If you head over to Lillian, there's H & D Cycle.
Down near Silverhill on 104 is Chrome Horse Pub.
Now, as for Pensacola... LOL BTW, one of the best Harley shops I've been into locally is the one over in Car City in P'cola.
