Found a use for my used oil

I have an older riding mower. The engine still runs great but continues to consume its own life blood. Yesterday I checked the level before mowing the grass and it has consumed again. It's old and not worth rebuilding since I have another fresh engine waiting to be used one day. As I went to get a bottle of new oil off the shelf, I saw the gallon jug of my used bike oil. Hey, it's still very clean looking, so I used that in the mower. As quick at it consumes the oil, I don't see where it hurts anything at all. I know I can use it for my chain saw bar but I hardly use it enough to get rid of the used bike oil. I think this makes more since than burning virgin oil. Right?

I know several people that do the same thing. If the engine is bad. There is no need to worry.
