DWMS Racing Bridgestone M2/SS 200cc Motorcycle Restoration!
Hello Brothers! I apologize for not being on the forum a lot recently, I have been very busy here at the shop however I will do my best to try and be here more! We recently completed the restoration of this Bridgestone motorcycle and I thought that you all may enjoy a few before and after photos of it! I am working on a custom RD350 build now and I will post a build thread for it here as well!

That is fantastically beautiful work! Looks like it could be displayed at a museum.
I always love seeing your work Joey!

Brother weirbeard I have missed talking to you my friend! Thank you for your compliments, they truly mean more to me than I could ever put into words!
I have never had a bike displayed in a museum, that would really be an honor! To be honest with you I have never even entered any of my work into a bike show or anything however the gentleman that I built this bike for took it to the Lars Anderson Auto Museum show and she won best bike in show!
It truly warms my heart to know that other people appreciate the work that I do and you have always supported me in that way which always inspires me to keep being creative so I could never thank you and everyone here enough for that, Thank you for always being such a good Brother!
I just posted a XS1100 big bore engine build for you to see and I also started a build thread for the RD350 that I am building now, I hope you will enjoy them!

Congratulations on that! I'm not surprised though at all. Your passion for your work always shows. It deserves some attention and trophies.
I have missed talking to you too Joey.. I have not been on any forums lately.. I actually resigned from BamaRides, but I always love seeing your work.. It really gets me excited. You are a master of your trade.

I always grow close to the projects that I work on Brother and I felt a very close connection with the Bridgestone as well, it is hard to explain however I am sure that you understand. I feel like I am giving them a new life, the second chance at life that they deserve after all of the years of neglect that they endured so just to return the Bridgestone to her former glory and hear her take her first new breath of life was truly a rewarding experience. We spent a lot of time together as I saved and restored everything that I could so most of the parts on her are still original. The last tag on her was from almost forty years ago so even something as simple as the day that I first turned the head light on felt very special as I knew that was the first time she showed a sign of life in a very long time so you can imagine how I felt the very first time I started the engine, she started almost immediately and ran beautifully like she just could not wait to run. I finished building her just in time for the show and although I was not there with her I know she must have been standing proud, my good friend that owns her took her for several rides before winter got here so knowing that I did my small part to save her and help return her to her former glory truly warms my heart. As far as winning that show, that was her day not mine.
I have not been on the forums as much as I would like either Brother, several of the guys I build for are members of DTT so I post builds on there and the DWMS Racing forum however I have not been on any of the other forums for a while now and I have missed it. My membership on BamaRides did not last very long either my good friend. It feels good to be back here already, not that I actually ever left as I have always loved SAMC I have just been very busy with work.
