Never mind I went back and read the thing!

Cmon over! Hoping for a big turn out for this one.

It should rain too hard if it does. As long as it's not cold, I'll be happy

depending on how the weather is I will decide if i ride or cage to the event. I don;t have any rain gear but if it is hit and miss then I am going to ride, steady rain then cage most likley.

Cool!!! There was a run back in March I think in Pcola...I wanted to go...but it rained all day.....one of those few times I decided to take the cage to the end point party anyway......had a blast! Even Miss G showed up there!!

I think me and the Misses might make this.. or at least drive down there. It's actually a pretty nice drive from where we live to there.
I've never done a poker run, any idea what sort of places (like how far away) the other spots are that you'd have to go to to get all the cards?

So you need to get there before 11 and be back by 2?

I would latch on to jmunsey and follow him thru the ride or someone who has done a few of these. Or possibly like myself get out their riding and forget what I am there for, just enjoy the ride then head back for the party.

EZ! They will give you a route map with directions....this is an observation run...where you have to look for stuff and write down answers on the sheet.....I have done this one before and it is a nice ride...and usually easy to find the clues.....now most poker runs you just follow a route to various stops...most time bars....then u draw a card there or get your entry card stamped and draw the cards at the end......

This is an observation run where you have to think......I normally hate that as I am down to my two remaining brain cells...and they both work intermittently!!!

None of this is rocket science...I usually wait till darn near last bike out time before I go....plenty of time to make the run and get back for the festivities.

I plan on riding solo this time so watch out for the suede green and black softail (they only had that color in 20o0 and 2001)....also look for a mean woman on a 2004 Blue Honda VTX 1300...that would be Debi....although she is pretty much just mean to me...can never figure that one out?????!!!!!!

Should be a good ride,hit and miss showers possibly.

The forecast is looking alot better. Maybe the rain will move north of us like it does most of the time.

I sure hope the weather clears up......all these naked anti-rain dances I have been doing are wearing me out....not to mention grossing the neighbors out!!!

Just a thought for any of you coming from Mobile....there is a large group of bikers that meet at the Cracker Barrel at the Eastern Shore mall for breakfast every Saturday at 8am...like clockwork. Pretty sure it is exit 38 off I-10. You could stop by there at 8 am....meet them all...check out all the cool bikes in the parking lot......then talk all of them into coming with you over to H&D's in Lillian for this ride!

No rain till late afternoon or evening, according to the weather man. Where stuff you can through in the dryer. It may be colder coming home. Be prepared. See you all there.

The storm is about 100 miles in the gulf and breaking up fast, it should just be light showers if anything, but then again, it's the weather. You done good with the dances, it could be worse. I'm just glad I didn't have to witness that!

Headed over there in a few minutes. My scooter needs a bath anyway...after all those dances...I may need one too!!

Great turn out for a not so sun shiny day. 5 of us were there and did the ride. Made it almost back to the end point before the rain came. Had some lunch, a few beers, band, all in all a great event. Then donned the rain gear and headed home. Actually, once north of Lillian around 32 it stopped raining. Got home to Rdale and it was dry there too.

Da%^%^ the same thing happened to Scadoole and Jsteele they had a dry run after they left!! I got soaked all the way home and it is still pouring buckets!. Was a fun ride and good time today meeting and riding you guys.

It was a great ride, at least nothing fell off in the rain!

OUCH!! yep the exhaust pipe stayed on good and tight all the way home. I look at it this way ..no one hurt and nothing broken.. short delay... and....Debbie got to meet some new friends in the cow pasture!!

Yeah it was a great day, We got to see a crazy little horse, Lassie and Rufus too!

Had to have been a great day......I got home parked the bike, got all that rain gear off and was immediately attacked and rendered unconscious by the couch monster!! It was at least two hours before I was able to free myself from its grip.
