The last time they did this it was a great event and a lot of fun. Looking forward to going again this year,

I'm in, schedule at the time permitting, IF A WOUNDED WARRIER WANTS TO BE MY PASSENGER.

This is always a great event. Super party afterward too so if ya can't make the ride, come on over in the afternoon for some food and entertainment.

I went by HD Cycles and found out I'd misunderstood the event. I thought it was for wounded warriers in general, not one specific warrier. That's not any disappointment, but obviously alters my challange to take a wounded warrier along as a passenger.

Still, if anyone knows a wounded warrier who would like to ride the event as a passenger, I'd still be proud to tote him.

And I do know how to spell "warriOr," dang it . . . .

I going to try and make this tomorrow, hope to see some of you there.

This is a must go for me. Also a great time. They had this 2 years ago and it was really good. They skipped last year but I am very glad that they are doing it again. I will definitely be there.....home all of you are too!

Well did a dry run to Lillian HD today picked up a set of points/condensor for the bike and learned I was a month early for the poker run, nice windy ride all the same.

I drove out there just before lunch today. My Softail Battery crapped out so I had to get a new one. Bummed me out as I had just replaced the battery......6 years ago!!!

Yea! It is weird. I bought the 2000 Softail in 2003 with 9900 miles on it. I knew it was the original battery......so gettin ready to go to Bike Week in 2006....it was still working......but I got a little nervous and did not want to be stuck somewhere with a dead batter so I bought a new one.....just replaced that one today.....tried to start it after several months and it was dead...even though the battery tender said it was charged. I just changed the battery on my Road King a month or so ago...it is an 07 FLHPI and that was the original battery. Must be this incredible Lower Alabama climate! Sure aint nothin I am doing right!

I installed the battery in the softail tonight.....fired right up after several months....took it for a ride tonight.....first time on a 2 wheeler since knee surgery!!!! Sure felt good!

After jumping on this, it looks like I'm not going to be able to make it -- TWO conflicts, one unavoidable. Really sorry. Someone do something stupid for me . . . .

I am really hoping you guys turn this in to a meet and greet and we have a big turn out. It is a nice ride out there.....observation run...entertainment and food.....all to help out a wounded warrior. I really hope you all can make it.

Jim, how do you think the forecast will affect the gathering? 70% chance of T-storms Saturday.

I talked to the sponsors, H&D Cycles, and asked them to make sure the weather was sunshine and nice.....they said they would do what they could but this is on rain or shine.......people can drive anything they want there. I am goin!
