Going Sky Diving August 3rd !!!!!!

Has anybody ever been? What should I expect and does anybody wanna come watch my crazy ass fall out of a airplane ?

expect some very touchy/feely coaches.

you will be going Tandem /full assist for your 1st jump.

listen to every word they say, the dry run instructions will be useful and useless at the same time, because when you are 15k off the deck it all changes !

do not wait to ask questions, and if any lesson they go over does not register with you, ask them to repeat it !

the landing lesson is the one you NEED to pay attention to the most! even tandem you can really hurt yourself and the coach if not paying attention

as a a side note. you will either LOVE it or HATE it, and if you love it, be warned it is addicting !

first timers will usually have more fun and a better experience if with a group of friends.

if you can finesse a friend or colleague out of a gopro camera or similar to wear and record your own experience, it is worth it! there is almost always someone filming from the ground and on board too. they are worth the $25 for the video/disc too

oh ya, and have a freeeaaakkkinnggg blast !

Shoulda asked me around ten years ago.

I would probably fall apart on landing. Always wanted to, never could get anyone to go either.

Sorry, you're on your own. I can't jump out of a perfectly good airplane...on purpose.

Are you going in prattville? Or Lillian? Its the best feeling I have ever had.. The free fall that is. Just except death and then you can jump out no problem.

One of my buddies gave $100 for the video.. I say its not worth it because your going to look really stupid with your face all flapping around and stuff.

I'm with miss g. Can't jump out of a perfectly good airplane. But I have heard that the jump plane my not make it back to the airport.

a few more pointers for you....look over there website or call and ask what you should wear or bring with you to change into. not all jump suits are a great fit or comfortable, and winds/air temps are not the same from 10k feet up.

if you have compression shorts and shirt, this would be my first choice. ( under armour, nike, even walmart brand ( russel?) are fine

they allow more flexibility and comfort.
I also dont know how much the coaching has changed in 10 years, but have heard that they have a limited window for jumping from the plane, so if you get up there and say NO at the last minute, chances are you just wasted your money and time. but the good news is the coach will probably just unhook from you and jump anyway....and he gets paid, and has fun !

I promise you, if you are looking for an entirely new experience, that brings one of the best rushes, this is it. safety % are irrelevant. you take a risk walking out your front door every day, and its no different IMO...

Going to Elberta to jump, and I am uber excited its not my time and I will live a full satisfying life especially now that im single !

You won't die, but its best if you except that you will.. It makes it more fun. Yeah Elberta.. Not Lillian.. They have only had a couple people die and like one plane crash...

I would like to come if I can... I would video from the ground.

That's Ms. Fool to you , WB yes come watch I go through class at 9 in the air at 9:30. 30 minute class to fall out of a airplane ya gotta love that !

I aint gonna back out man I iz living life up. I am going to Biloxi this weekend , New Orleans in October, and Vegas in Feb woo hoo !!

I wish I could plan that far in the future . I don't even buy green bananas any more .
