Sooooo excited!!!!

Either Thur or Fri I will pick up my very first Harley!! I bought an '07 Dyna Glide Street Bob!!! This is for me. It has the black denim paint job...a windshield, highway pegs and a sissy bar. I'm sooo ready to hit the road. It's been over 20 yrs since my last ride. Truth be told, I'm a tad nervous.

Anyway, just had to share.

what made you decide to hop back on?

Seems most of the fellas I know have bikes. Been offered rides and such but it only made me want my own. Even my oldest son (the reason I quit riding 24 yrs ago) helped me pick this bike out....long distance. He's a Marine and has a Dyna himself.
On the down side...I'm off work right now because of a badly torn rotator cuff...right arm. Workman's comp is trying to screw me and have no clue when I'm going to have surgery. It's going to make riding a tad challenging but I still can't wait!!

Congrats on the new scoot. Hate to hear about the arm though. But remember. We must see pics. We love to see everyone's scoots.

Well, I happen to think so. LOL. By nothing fancy I'm referring to nothing super custom. I'm still feeling so terribly nervous about riding. If the weather is a bit warmer, I may see if I can putt around on the back lot and see how my shoulder is going to react to bumps, turns and such.

Purrrrrty. I was planning on getting a Street Bob before my Bella grabbed me by the ear. Grats!!!!

I signed paperwork and got the financing all set today. Just gotta get the down payment in there and she's MINE!!! Woo hooo!!!!

Miss G I to have bad shoulders. had surgery twice on left one three years ago and twice on right this year. I have had so much trouble i had a cruise control installed on my bike and it made it possible to ride like the breeze. My right arm would go numb within thirty minutes and the pain was terrible. With the cruise i can take long trips without problem, 8 to 10 hours in a day is no problem. Biggest problem is if it gets away from you you will just have to let it drop if not you take a big chance of really hurting yourself so just be careful and have some fun, Looking forward to meeting you and going for a ride. LOL just be careful i have heard my vic could possibly scare the grease outta the bearings on your HD. Just kidding you had to be there to get that one.

I'm looking at a possible career change in the middle of all of this too. Dealing with workman's comp with the post office has been a nightmare. I've never met a group of people with so little disregard for the well being of one of their own. If I can ever get the surgery I need before I lose everything I own, I'll be good to go for a while.

Boy, sure hate to hear about your shoulder troubles. When one of those takes to hurting, that's a whole new level of pain. Not much takes the pain away. I look forward to meeting and riding some time....that would be cool!

Hey Bum. You know they had mine for 2 weeks and never heard the noise? I finally picked it up and brought it to work. Looked it over real good and found that the belt was too tight.

Wow! Love, love, LOVE, the skull grips and highway pegs!!! The shots in the graveyard were great. LOL. The paint job is off the chart awesome. Lotta work but the end result is stunning. Congrats.
