new rider (and Honda owner)
Hi all. I'm very much a newbie, not just to this forum, but also to riding. I went through the MSF course, found an '02 Rebel to practice on, but also have a gorgeous '02 750 black Shadow ACE sitting in my garage which I aspire to riding eventually. I seem to have a thing for black Hondas as both bikes AND my Accord are all black. LOL
Are there any other newbies on the Eastern Shore?

Re: new rider (and Honda owner)
I see lots of riders over here, so I'm hopeful. For now, I just ride through some of the developments that never took off in my area on my Rebel. Every night, I at least crank up the bikes (which my neighbors laugh about, especially my ACE which meets my criteria: black, chrome and LOUD). LOL

My wifey did the same thing... we rode through some developments as well and just kept getting further from the house. Found some hills and stopped on them until she was comfortable.
Re: new rider (and Honda owner)
that's one of the good things about so many empty developments; i'm off 64, so we have quite a few up here

So your the one perpetuating the stigma of bikers having black bikes....

black bikes, black leather.... what can i say? it's just a great contrast to my red hair LOL
actually, long before i found the courage to try riding, i was always partial to black bikes with lots of shiny chrome on 'em and nice loud pipes; i guess it feeds the tomboy side of my nature

I've always said put two red heads together and we plot to take over the world, put three of us together and we'll accomplish it. We have our third plus Deanna. We're all set. Oh and let's not forget Tracy

Re: new rider (and Honda owner)
No, if you post something the same time someone else does to the same thread, one doesn't make it. Happens to me sometimes. Yes, we are adventurous. And I can't wait until the Doctor tells me I'm allowed to drive my own bike once again.

Be careful not to hit the "preview" button. It will look like you posted and it wont go through. I have done that before.
