Signing off for a while
I have enjoyed this site from the get go, good info and rides with some good people.
But due to illness in family have little time to ride or follow up on things here, bikes in garage parked.
Wife has stage IV lung cancer which has spread, wishing everyone a safe year,
Stoney AKA 72 shovelhead.

Wife passed away from her short battle (4 months)with cancer, turned out to be in her pancreas she went peacefully mid August. So this chapter in my life is closing . I Have been riding mostly for work between Dothan and home racked on 4400 miles since May, have not driven a car for months living on the road king.

Re: Signing off for a while
Sorry to learn of your loss. Cancer is such a evil disease. My wife has had three rounds of colon cancer
and she is in remission now but the after effects of the treatments and surgery are very hard.
Like you i believe this place has pretty much been given up on by everyone. It has been a very hard few years on us all and just seems everyone has went their own way.
Hopefully we will at least pass each other along the winding roads of north milton as i go up there around harold and munson crossroads as my grandparents are buried in those places and i cut through indian ford road . It is a nice little ride up that way.
