SUNDAY, 2-24-13 -- Ride?

Anybody planning to take advantage of the weather window we're supposed to get this afternoon? Dee and I would enjoy riding with another bike or two or three if logistics and timing work out.

I don't think I can safely get my bike out of my road or I'd be there in a heartbeat!!!

I couldn't go riding either becuase of a MUDDY road.

Was my pleasure. I love those little places off the beaten path.

Catfish restaurant on the west bank of the Tombigbee (not the Alabama) just north of, and in sight from, Highway 10, well west of Camden, where everything is good but the catfish--can't think of the name

Old converted train station, south end of Market Street, two blocks west of US 61, Port Gibson, MS (off Natchez Trace, and I can't think of the name of that one either, but the best catfish I've ever eaten by a wide margin)

What ever you do, do NOT order the sausage paddy for breakfast at Deal's Gap -- you'll want to hang your taste buds on the Tree of Shame.

Gator Cafe in Baker has awesome banana puddin...as long as it lasts, tho.

The Back 40 and Pegleg Petes' are on my "to do" list!!
