Anyone who wants to ride come on out and join us. There is a flyer on the ABATE web site with specifics for meeting place and time. More info is provided.
I will be leaving Foley about 6:15 heading to Bay Minette.

We will leave Bay Minette, Exit 37, at 7:30 am. April 20th. The ride is not just for members, all are welcome. Montgomery Harley Davidson will provide hotdogs and drinks afterwards for those interested in riding over there to eat.

Are ya'll taking I-65 all the way up?

Yep. Till we get to Montgomery where we will take I-85. We are going to meet at the Gulf Shores Parkway exit before we head on to Montgomery. KSU at 7:30.

Everyone who wishes to participate in this ride is welcome to come out. The group from Mobile and those of us from the east side of the bay, will meet at I-65, Exit 37, Gulf Shores Parkway. From there we will proceed to the meeting point in Montgomery. KSU from Exit 37, 7:30 am. We will make a fuel stop at Exit 93. Weather is gonna be great so come on out and let's ride.
The Harley Davidson Dealer in Montgomery is serving hot dogs afterwards.

I know this is probably an odd question, but how fast do you think you'll go on the interstate? and how many will be heading up from down here.

Not sure about how many. Hopefully a good crowd. Those from Mobile area are meeting us there also. Probably run 70, not more than 75. I am not a speed demon and don't need any tickets, especially since we are promoting Safety.

What a great day for a ride. Some presumed it to be a little chilly, I am sure. Those of us who participated found the ride invigorating, although the wind was rough. All in all it was a great day. Useful information from the speakers.
