Tully and I and one other are leaving this Friday around noon. We are going to stay somewhere in Palm Coast. If anyone wants to head that way and ride with us, let me know. I will be returning Monday.

Daytona Beach Bike Week 2014.....We survived!! Great trip goin there. Good weather while we were down there. Much to do. I got to demo a 2014 Indian Chieftan Vintage....fantastic bike. The only one I have been excited about in many years. Headed home Saturday afternoon after goofing off at the flea market. Weather good saturday. Stopped overnight just west of Tallahassee, FL at MM 225. Got up early to clear blue skies. Headed on home.....just east of Tallahassee...the sky unloaded in one of the worst rainstorms I have seen in many years....stopped often...mostly cause rain and wind so bad I could not see...finally put rain suit on after I was wet anyway.....stopped for a while at MM 56 to try and let the worst of it go by. Slacked off a little so we took off...sadly the worst had not gone by......rode it out...got real scary seeing those big warning signs about the high winds on the Escambia Bay Bridge...I slowed to about 50 and had the flashers on....death grip on the handle bars as I went over that bridge...and pretty much the rest of the way home...I was ecstatic getting off I-10...still going less than speed limit the rest of the way home....completely soaked.....jumped right in the jacuzzi tub as soon as it was full of hot water.....not even gonna think about Bike Week 2015....at least not till about Jan or feb of next year! The Deuce Coupe ran great all the way...big shout out to H&D Cycles in Lillian, AL as they did the 5K service on it before we left..

Glad you made it home safe. Weather was brutal here last night and early today. Was hoping you would miss the worst of it. Guess you were not that lucky.
