Has anyone tried the Thunder Monster Baffles from bigcitythunder.com, and if so what do you think of them. In case you don't know running drag pipes or open pipes (baffles removed) takes away low end torque and decreases low end horsepower. It also makes it difficult to tune carbs, they're called drag pipes for a reason, they only work good at WOT. I know that the old school lollipop baffles that Big City uses in them work pretty good. I decided I didn't want to pay $80 plus shipping to find out so I made my own and they work great. I have included some pics of what I made. Don't laugh at my welding, I'm still learning.

They actually work really well. I get no decel pop like you do with open pipes. They give the bike a nice low tone at idle, open pipes sound raspy and tinny. And the best thing of all, they only cost $11 to make.

Looks good. I may have to try that on a set of pipes that I have.
