Alright guys I just picked up my latest project. I am going to get ;'er running first then tear her right down. Grind, cut, sand, polish, fabricate, kick, piss, moan, then finally compromise.. It's going to start as a broken down old Goldwing, but it's goign to end up.. eh well, I don't know which direction I'm going with her yet. I have always want to do a prostreet style bike. Real low, stretched, feet behind you type of prostreet. We will see..

Here are some pics...

oh man - is that the perfect platform for it! Its a super wide frame, the gas tank is false (its actually under the seat and gets pumped to the carb setup), the only thing would be its shaft drive isnt it? Might be tough to stretch that - but not impossible!!!

I think I like bikes more in frame/under construction state than in completed form. haha.

Yeah those are just some ideas... After looking it over I can see how I am going to cut the frame and replace the backbone. I can put a regular tank on it, shouldn't be a problem.

More pics as soon as I start tearing down.

This was after tonight. Trying to get an idea of how I want it set up. I like the drag bars, but I think I'll need some pull back. Definitely need to figure how to make it a rigid.

I want that tank, otherwise I'm trying for a rigid with a low low low seat height. I saw online where someone did a 300 rear tire conversion. I don't want a 300 tire but maybe a 250.

I have been a thinking machine lately. I'm in the process of starting a business to pay for a business, then starting a business, fabricating, and building stuff. Because I want to be rich and not work at the shipyard anymore...

Sounds like a plan, but everyone I know works harder and longer in their own business. But then there comes alot of pride with building your own company.

Yes Ma'am, I use to have a half started business. I did some t shirts and logo design. I had to close shop because my "Real" job forced me to travel too much. When you get sent to South Africa for 3 weeks and customers can't get a hold of you... Not goo for business. I am going to open it back up and just carry a couple clothing lines and try to get Northrop Grumman to let me sell some work clothes in the safety store... Perfect captive market. I'm going to use this business to fund another. Plus I was just asked if I would "Help" a guy start a business out of his own shop (complete with tools/welders/benders/cutters/lifts..etc) fabricating stuff. I think he wants to build / restore cars... However after a short conversation, he is going to provide me with a BMW rear end complete with independent suspension and disc brakes.. Me likey
