Ride to shoot?

I was just gonna see if there was any interest in a motorcycle ride to a pistol range. Its always fun to pop off a few rounds..

I know there are some places in Mobile and the Stix River range in Baldwin is a really nice ride.

Anybody?

Possibly. There's a range over here in Daphne at the pawn shop as well.

Yes, I believe that would be Goldmine.

Hmmmm...my .357 hasn't cranked off a round in years...ammo is old too. Hollow points...

A range is the perfect place for old ammo. I get a kick out of watching the lead fall out of the barrel

I would be game for that. i think the Gold mine is only hand gun and/or small caliber rifle. they got mad at me some years back with the FMJ ammo I used in my AK. The Styx river range is pretty good and not that expensive.

If it just falls out, I can hang with that. If it flippin explodes in the barrel, maybe not so much that. Besides, I shudder to think how bad my aim will be since having my shoulder operated on.

You did not miss it.. I was just thinking of doing it sometime in the near future.

If I'm available and it's an area open to larger calibers then pistols I'd like to get my friend's AR-15 and AK and come on out with you guys ha

Goildmine is pretty expensive to shoot at.

I like the Styx River Range. Any open air range will have accomodations for long guns.

I could burn a few old 45 rounds and a few hundred 40 S&W Rounds as well. That is provided I am off work and in the area when it is planned.

Dunno if I'll shoot. Repercussions might hurt the shoulder but, I might ride and come watch y'all. Or bring my gun and let someone else blow the ammo.

For all you gun nuts...and you know who we are!.....there is a Gun Show this weekend at the Robertsdale colliseum. They usually have a pretty good one. I always go to support the gun shows and ensure we keep having them. Good place to buy ammo as well.
