Need Help! Empty Need Help!

Post by Guest Sat Jul 23, 2011 11:36 am

Ok so I get woke up this morning to my girlfriend telling me that my bike is laying down in the front yard! I park it on the sidewalk but I'm guessing lastnight I missed the concrete with the kick stand and the soft ground gave in. What I need is advice on how I should go about getting the bike to where I can crank it because I'm not sure how long it was down so there may be oil where it don't belong. And I know if you got some in your piston you could really mess some stuff up.

First thing is to pull the plug(s). Then spin it over to see of you have oil or gas in the cylinders. If it sprays anything out. Spin it till it clears up. Install plugs and bump it over. If it turns over free. Go ahead and start it.

I agree with this.... and after that if you are truly concerned about this, the best thing to do is, pull the plugs, drain the oil, drain the carbs, refill and start...
