F-ing thieves ! arghhhhhh
Guess it is kind of my fault, but still pisses me off !
so I took my bike over to see my kids baseball game late afternoon up in Midland City.
parking lot is full, so I park opposite the field on the edge of the grass. I am at a kids baseball game with hundreds of people, did not figure a dirtbag would steal my shiot!
helmet was on tank, jacket over helmet and windscreen. walk over about 45 minutes into the game to check on things and my helmet and jacket are GONE !
wtf?! I start asking around and NOBODY saw anything..... of course.
HJC Helmet cs-15 red/black about 2 years old, tinted screen.
Joe Rocket Ballistic series Textile Jacket about 16 months old. blue and black.
one of the parents on my sons team is a LEO, so he asked around if any cameras may have caught it, let another local LEO know about the thievery. told us both the same thing.....nothing they can do, it has happened up here a lot recently. he was nice enough to call on his phone to some brethren, that I was heading home with no helmet, so not to bother me if possible.
made it home without incident, but caught in a downpour too. man does hard rain hurt !
I will keep an eye out on CL and at Sadies Market for it too !

Man.....hate to hear about crap like this. Was reading on another forum today about a guy down in Biloxi who had his gps and helmet stolen, both tires slashed and his bike pushed onto its side doing 2K+ of damage to the tank and fenders...
Good luck in getting the stuff back!

That is the reason I don't leave my helmet on my scoot. I don't trust anybody. Hope you find the scumbag that took your stuff.

They should go back to the old days, when they cut thieves hands off.
Hope they find them.

I'm always leery of leaving anything on my bike these days.
