Octane Boost
snake oil or not ??
found a bottle of Berryman Go Go Octane Boost in my shop this morning .. Dont know how it got here or when .. Claims up to a 7 point increase .. 16 oz treats 35 gals ..
So I figgered what they hay and dumped 4 oz in bagg's six gallon tank ..
Could tell a difference in the sound and throttle response immediately .. Quieted down the valve train noise a good bit ..

Re: Octane Boost
I have been wondering about that stuff myself. My bike was detonating a little on my trip to Faunsdale.. I think it was because most of the gas pumps were one hose deals and I was getting mostly what the last person got which is 87. I was thinking about carrying some of that stuff for situations like that..
So you say it seems like good stuff?

Re: Octane Boost
seems to be , I always run the highest I can get here which is 91 or 93 ..
was not a "huge" increase in throttle response , but you know how your bike responds , and mine was definitely better .. Stuff is kinda spendy , so doubt it wud be a regular addition to the fuel ..

Re: Octane Boost
It is typically a form of alcohol. Just google Octane Boost and Alcohol and you will get loads of home made and commercial ways to use alcohol to boost octane.
