Re: dyna beads
I have used them in cars for years. Works great. Some people try to save money by using metal BB's etc but they rust. I suppose if you use nitrogen to fill tires they wont rust since nitrogen = no moisture. Dynabeads are ceramic I believe.

Re: dyna beads
I have been using them in my bikes for several years now. I get better wear adn better mileage out of tires since the dynamically balanace all the time. i would use ugly stick on weights ever again. I love em.
As for truckers, most Iknow use antifreeze in the tires. It does the same thing.
I only use dyna beads now.

Re: dyna beads
I bought some mil spec #3 glass bead media. Did a little research on the Dyna Beads and found out their size and hardness. The beads I bought exceed the Dyna specs and are the same diameter so I'm going to try them out in my Yamaha XJ. Anyone wanting to try some of these PM me. $2 an oz (Dyna Beads are $6 an oz). I have plenty since the least I could buy was 3 pounds . I should be able to mail these in a plastic ziplock inside a regular letter size envelope. Typical amount per tire is 2 oz. and beads are 1mm in diameter. Inovative balancing's website has a tire size chart. It seems to have a lot of leeway which makes sense. The amount depends on how out of balance a tire is but the chart gives you a starting place for tire sizes.

Re: dyna beads
The amount of bead should vary by tire size. My front is supposed to be one once and my rar is 2 ounces. I usuall put in abut a half ounce extra since my tires are ont he extreme end of sizes for that wieght.
