New guy from Mississippi....
Hey folks, my name is Adam, i live in Hattiesburg Ms. Ive always been big into motorcycles, right now im in the middle of build'n a 74 honda cb550 bobber. As of right now im scoot-less, hopefully i should be done with it here in the next month or so....here is a pic of where im at in my build..[img][/img]

Great bike dude! I ride a cb750 cafe racer right now, but one of my future projects is a hardtail around a spare 750 motor I've got. The 550 is a great motor!

Thanks for the welcome guys....Yeah Deviant my plan was to cafe-nate this one, i made it as far as put'n the clubmans on it and realized it wasnt what i wanted, so i decided to bob it.....here is the before pic of it....[img][/img]

That's a pretty clean 550! I've got tons of parts for Hondas of this era. If ya ever need anything let me know, I've probably got something in the parts bins that will work!

Hey - welcome to a fellow builder! I have a 650cc chopper I'm makin' now. Looking forward to reading more about it. I just sold a CB900custom that I kinda cafe'd... lemme see if I can find a pic.....

Ohhhh... Sweet 900! I think I may be the resident cafe nut on this board! I'm glad to hear that a few others have gone this route or were thinking of going this route. I've got a bobber project going on right now for my step-son. It started out as a nasty part mule rebel 250 that I got for $100.00 from a dealership in Selma. Now we're trying to turn it into the best bobber a rebel can make! Here's a before and current shot.
As soon as I can get the jack for a frame, or the opportunity to make one, I'm going to do a cb750 hardtail out of a spare motor I've got.
