Wow, nice job! Those of you who can ride with the forward controls have my respect. I don't think I could do it.

To me it is actually easier. It puts me into a reclined position like riding a recliner.
If I can ever get her cleaned up I will put her in for BOTM

Heck, I tried my highway pegs the other day and that was waaaay weird. That and I didn't come close to having my legs straight. Maybe in time. The thought of riding a recliner is kinda intriguing.

I love it. I made them as far forward as i could.

Perhaps mine would be a better fit if I had an engine guard and the pegs were on that instead... Still feels odd.. LOL Oh, and the breeze up my pants legs was quite...invigorating.

I actually made some rear struts to replace my shocks with, and I wasn't really nuts about the ride. So I am either going to go with a shorter shock or make me a longer swing arm to drop the azz end down a bit. I like the bobber look but not the hardtail thing.

Dude those look great. I like the change. And I think that shortie shocks would be killer. Rebel 250 shocks might work for you. They are a good bit shorter and pretty cheap. It would also give you a little more clearance up front for the FoCo's. You might have to raise your fender in order to clear the tire as well.

It was breaking the stock supports that ran along the seat. So I took some 1" tubing(3/4"i.d.) and bent it to the shape that you see there. I made it in three parts. But now all welded together.

Yeah, I bet that sucker was heavy.

Hell don't clean it up.. Put it up for BOTM next month.. See what happen. Very nice.

I did that at our last bike show remember. I didn't get too far with it. Gotta get her running again first.
