I am ashamed

I can not believe we have over 100 members and only nine pre-registered. I know a few have to work. We are trying to raise money to help the wildlife on the coast. Come on. Let's make this happen.

I don't really understand about the whole thing... Do you have to register to show up?

Not everybody has a "show bike". I have 4 bikes & none of them would get a second glance. Besides, I've been working 7 days a week & can't find time to go to the bathroom. I was planing to show up, & found out I had to work @ 2 pm Friday

There was a dual sport entered. You could have had company. Besides, I know some had to work. Dragon had to work. But I was able to get the boss to let him off at 12.

Well personally I am damn proud of everyone. We had something like 23 entries and a lot of folks showed up to have a look and talk about the board. The first show I helped out with had 5 entries, two of which were mine and one was as rat as you could get.

Work sucks, but we all need the bucks, so I feel that one. Never be ashamed of a bike you ride, it's YOUR bike, and it either runs or is a work in progress.

Draconis had a ball with his work in progress, especially watching the judges get all pop eyed having a look over it and muttering "now WTF is that thing..."

Sorry that some had to miss it, but not everyone can get work to let them off. There will be more events to come.

I felt bad because I didn't have mine there. I felt like an outsider. But it was cool to hang out with everyone all the same. Got some damn nice shirts and some huggers to keep the beer colder longer.

yeah I'm sorry I missed it. but the new grand baby had to have heart surgery
in Shreveport la. so that was the first and foremost thing on my mind. Ended up staying almost a week. Everything worked out fine for her. Then I had to come back and work like a dog to play catch up. so again I'm sorry I missed it and hopes everyone understands and we'll try to catch the next one. Decoy45

i am mad that i had to miss i wanted to put my bike in the show. yes it is a work in pprogest but i am still proud of what every one did and from what i hear and seen by the pic it look like a good group and good show. not bad for the frist one. rember that one thing i enjoy the most of this group is all the good pepole that is on here and the time that we can get out away from every thing in ours home and enjoy grate compty and good rides and i do not care what you have to ride as long as what you have runs and you enjoy good prpole and good rides then LET'S RIDE! and have littel fun at the same time
