facebook anyone?

I ran the idea by phantom that perhaps we could make a facebook page, and got curious if anyone on here already has a FB page. If you do holla out, and maybe we can further network from there.

Well hell. And here I thought that I was forward thinking.

And I must be an idiot because I can't find ya.

I tried it a few times and actually did manage to connect with some old friends , which is what I was wanting to do .. Quite a few said lets stay in touch via email , and exchanged email addys with them , and send 'em a few emails and never hear from them again ..
Not my thing I suppose , too many people know enuff about me already , and protecting my privacy and my family and friends privacy means more to me than what I see on there ..

I agree, Facebook is a double edged sword. And it never ceases to amaze me just how many old acquaintances always use the same damn line "We GOT to keep in touch!!!" Been there a dozen times and they never do even though I send them tons of messages about whats going on, etc.

Is it some self serving guilt thing or just semantics? I dunno. Wanna talk to me, I can be found, jeez.

Anyway...once one of us finds the rest, it will be easy to hook up from there.

I think that this could be a very nice way to network to find more members.

More members? Every since you joined Draconis, the group has been complete, but I'll go ahead and start a facebook thing as soon as I can.

I do not have face book ....... everytime i try to get into face book i get a computer bug and i have to reboot my pc, i know it is from face book .... i guses i need new firewalls
