Beach house is confirmed... It has a pool for those of you that need to cool off. Plenty of room as it has lots of beds. Let me know if you are in... Oh, by the way, no cost to any of you.... just gas and whatever else you need to live.

We leave tomorrow afternoon. It isn't to late to go. The wife is taking her car, so you can stuff it if you need to.

Thunder Beach - Panama City Beach Empty Re: Thunder Beach - Panama City Beach

Ok, drywall, the wife and I went to Thunderbeach. The wife left early on Friday in the car. Drywall and I put the kickstands up at 4 on Friday after watching the radar for an hour. Everything was fine until just past P-cola. The rain started, but was manageable. As soon as we got past Destin, the sky fell all at once. We stopped a few times, just to gather ourselves. We pushed on. It was pouring and I mean raining sideways. We both were drenched. The road couldn't even drain the water fast enough as we were driving in about 3" of rain on the road. It was pitch black dark accept for the consistent lightening. At one point we stopped and I put my feet down in 6" of water. Both of my front turn signals were blown and even had a water line inside the lens. We pushed on. We finally arrived at the house and revved the motors signaling our triumph over the weather. We made it alive. It really is true that getting to a destination is most of the fun on a motorcycle.

The rally was cool. We were able to hit most of the venues. We saw a lot of cool stuff and weird people. I'll post some pics later...

The trip back was swift as the radar showed some rain at the back door.
