Bike Night Afterwords

We made it home. Had a good time. It was good to see everyone again.

We just got home.

Good food
Good friends
Good fight......
Not between any of us, mind you. Nick was closest, I will let him tell it....

Made it home safe. Had a good time. Not bad for the first bike night.

so i sat on a dudes leg big deal, any way I TOLD YALL THE FOOD WAS GOOD, and again I apologize for the service

We made it home safe and sound

Good food ,Good people and nice bikes what more can ya ask for on a sat night. On the way home I Allmost plowed a truck pulling a trailer with no lights on either the truck are the trailer. So me being the nice guy I am when he pulled into a gas station I pulled in behind him to tell him he had no lights and he wanted to jump bad with me because my headlight was to brite and it was blinding him. At least I had ligts the dork. other than that had a great time and can't wait to do it agian.

Attempting to recover this morning. We got home around 3am, and I'm feeling like someone beat me with the broom! Awsome time last night.

Sorry for the delay. I got home at about 12:15 or so this morning. I had a wonderful time. Thanks again for the rides last night.

Fine, I will tell it...

So we are all standing outside a waffle house chillin and shootin the breeze. Suddenly we see two guys start fighting in the little mini lobby just inside the door. My first thought is no biggie till one turns the right way and I see a pistol on his hip....a cop. Oh chit. And he is a fairly little guy, the one he's dancin with is pretty damn BIG. But he handled it well, does a hip toss on the dude and SLAM, he hits the concrete floor. But still fighting hard.

Now me....I was an MP and from up north. Up north you do NOT jump in, that can get you lead poisoning real quick, they are twitchy that way. So I just ease on over close to the door and if big dude gets up and out that door, now...he is mine. And everyone else's, we were all on alert and waiting.

But several started asking if anyone was going to help the officer so Nick slides up in there and asks if he needs help. Guy says yes, so he grabs a double handful of legs and holds him down till the guy can get cuffs on. Strong dude, they finally get him restrained and his backup finally gets there, they drag, and I do mean DRAG his azz to the patrol car.

Two funny things happened after that...first we found out the reason this guy got his ass arrested for likely drunk and disorderly, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer...he didnt want to pay a FIVE DOLLAR tab.
Second thing was they naturally had to stick around and take statements from people in the waffle house and do all their LE stuff...so here we all are....8 bikes parked in front of the resteraunt...all of us hangin around the doors....people are showing up in droves to come eat....lookin at us all and then the two cops and their cars, lights flashing....and coming us to us "big bad bikers" asking PERMISSION to come in....not from the cops....from US....
"Is it safe?" "Is it alright to come in?"

lol we should have said..HELL NO!! go back to FlaBama and drink some more!

Should have told them to either leave or THEY'RE next.

Had a great time, we got home around 1:15 and I was beat. I'll get my photo's up sometime soon.

I did get a lay of the land with John (one of the owners) on how we'll set up the bike show (business first and all that) It's going to be great. Maybe he can get them to park those buses elsewhere that night. Worth asking.

Kari tell you dad the food was excellent. Never had a better Rubin, will be may meal of choice there. For a new place, the service wasn't that bad. Just takes some time for the kitchen and the wait staff to get in the same groove. It should be way better in a month.
