Jimmy Buffett is comming!

Do we have anyone with some inside connections? Would love to snag up some of these tickets. We could all met up and rumber to the beach for the concert! I remember when he was very common on the island, I have ran into him a dozen times, but it has been so long since I have sat and listened to his music. /sigh fond memories sitting on the beach and listening to Buffett!

We would love to go, he is one of edera's favorites of all time. But the tickets are going to be near impossible to get. His paid concerts sell out in less than an hour, sometimes a year in advance.

Beings this is a free one, I will bet they blow the server from the hits within the first five minutes they go on availablity.

Dunno about how to get in person. They will be on Ticketmaster at 10 AM Wednesday.

Well I set up an account might help I dunno. They have a few locations that you can go buy tickets in person. My daughter is skipping class tomorrow to try and get some. Maybe I should send my son down there as well..lol Gotta love kids, you can abuse them and they never know it happen. They use to drag me to the Elvis camp out 2 days before tickets went on sale. Hell I thought that was fun!

I just got a sour taste in my mouth from trying to get tickets a few years ago. Wanted some KISS tickets, went like 5 hours early and waited. Was like 3rd in line. They opened, then had a "lottery" for the first 30 people to be able to get to buy tickets first (WTF? ). Pulled 5th place, thought that was kewl. Then only to find out that someone at kiss or ticketmaster had decided to have a website only pre sale the day before. Ended up with lower bowl. Pissed is not the word.

Not trying to be a downer here, we really wanna go. But I can just see hundreds of office buildings giving all their dozen or more secretaries orders to get 4 tickets apiece wed morning.

Well, we're gonna try anyway. Having different last names, maybe we can get 8 altogether. And yes we plan on sharing our good fortune with members if we get lucky.

Well, that sucked. We both tried exactly at 10, got put on hold for 6 minutes in line, they were gone.

I think the outlets pulled all the tickets and those who could get out of work and stand in line got them. Which really isn't quit fair, but what can you do. Watch Craigslist. Someone will be scalping them

They are already on CL and was flagged for removal. Ebay has a bunch as well. I refused to line someones pocket for a free concert that is to benifit the gulf coast. Any way we tried!

The way tickets are sold ( or given away ) has for a long time both perplexed and pissed me off for a long time. We attend a pretty big number of events and different kinds of venues. We have gotten "good" seats," but never GREAT seats. And she has tried hard to do it.

We got some to see Alice Cooper in Louisiana, I was excited that we got down front, 2-3 rows back. When we got there it was FAR right, and in front of the huge stacks of speakers, so he still couldn't walk over in front of us if he tried.

Then security wouldn't let us rush the stage, which alice WANTS. But oh, no....two different sets of people somehow managed to get front row, center....each with FOUR YEAR OLDS!!!! Who the F takes a child child to a cooper concert????? Not to mention the possible ear damages on someone that young.

I just talked with E-bay, They are going to try and pull every Jimmy Buffet Gulf Shores 7/1 ticket on their actions. It's going to come under the "morals" rule. I found 25 listings while I was talking with the girl. I explain it was a Free concert and a Charity event.

I've noticed some of them are pulled already. I hope the guy in Calgary, Canada and New York choke on the paper they will print them on.

I called them to, just scared the hell out of some highschool kids for trying to calp them at a gas station. thats what I hate about this place since I moved here, nothing goes like it should here its either corrupt or they cant plan anything and it geets all screwed up, in my opinion you should still have to go stand in line for a certain number of reserved tickets and leave some for internet

I hear that, Bro. Good on you for scaring them too. I don't know how they have tickets in hand either, they say on ticketmaster that no tickets will be allowed to get printed out until after noon to give them time to verify that peep are not getting more than 4 and it's all as legal as they can make it. So far as I know, they don't even have them in hand.

So proud of you guys! I did'nt think about calling ebay that was an awsome idea. I get so sick of the theives everywhere. We have been nailed a few times from ebay and amazon. But due to the insurance we got our money back. Windows Beta was being sold as the real deal and they worked up until MicroSoft did updates, now they are illegal programs!
