Never EVER Ignore a Fuel Leak
This is what happend to a friend of mine. He ignored a fuel leak from under his fuel tank. Might have been carb or possibly a fuel line. I told a few of you at the BBQ about a friend that had a Boss Hoss. Well. It's not as pretty as it was a week ago. He told me he had just put 10 gallons in the tank. He pulled away from the pump and made it about 30 feet from the pump. I guess I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story.

Not sure about a dollar amount. I think it was around 15-18k. Just did a belt conversion for about 5-6k alone.

Burnt his arms. Don't know how bad. But I guess it wasn't too bad. And if I know him as well as I think I do. No insurance.

He doesn't know if he is going to try and rebuild it or buy another. And I don't know if you could afford or should I say willing to pay his prices. But I will let him know you are interested in it.

NO. It has a custom two speed standard. I have not seen it up close. But I will probly be over there within the next two weeks. I'll see how bad it is melted and let you know.

I have seen him sm0ke the rear tire like that at 80 mph. Let a black streak at least a 1/4 mile. You wont ever catch me doin that stuff.

I have seen him do it. When you hammer that 350 the whole bike tries to jump sideways. It doesn't look like fun to me. I have let my inner speedfreak out before. Thats why I own a cruiser now. I have been caught doin 140mph on Dauphin Island bridge with the wife on the back. It was at that moment I decided to get rid of it.

ONCE! I rode on the back of the Busi. Ted came away with cat marks on his side, and I came away with about 2 lbs of his flesh under my nails! Lesson learned!
