I agree. I'm sure most here are gun owners.

I went to the gun show yesterday in Mobile....incredible. They said lines were wrapped around the Shriner building and going out to the street waiting for them to open. When I got there it was wall to wall people and most ammo was already sold out. What ammo was left was about double the price it used to be. Gun prices have sky rocketed too. There were little old ladies buying pistols to carry in their purse and old men with walkers in there trying to buy a gun. I stopped at the Walmart a little while ago in Fairhope and their ammunition shelves had been cleared out. Most AR-15's are up in the $2000+ price range now. I even went online looking for mail order ammo and most of them are out with everything on back order.

If they pass out ammo I will be there!! Stupid pres created a run on guns and ammo..as least fresh ammo is in the pipeline.

Yep, Everything is going through the roof. Been thinking real hard about selling my evil rifle since I could get triple what I paid for it. Last I went to the Mobile gun show was about 4 years ago, and it was so packed then I swore em off for good, can only imagine how bad it is now. I saw better prices at the pawn shop than I did there anyways.

It is not about money...or how much you can get for this and that now...I hate to sound like some extremist......but to me....it is all about freedom and liberty....hate to sound so archaic......but I am pushing 58 here...when I grew up..this was a free country......So many people went off to foreign wars and gave life and limb....to fight against communism and for freedom.....correct me if I am wrong....but I cannot remember anyone going off to war to fight and die to "tax the rich", or economic justice, or more food stamps, or more gun control, or more welfare, or nationalized health care, or amnesty for illegal aliens, or taking guns and ammo from law abiding citizens, or unfettered abortion.....did I miss something?????

Nope you covered most everything..is it possible we are headed the way of Stalin? The UK? are we seeing the start of a new dicator government right here at home ? whatever the outcome.....freedom will prevail unles the minoins stay mindless listening to the current adminstration.

I think that is it. Unarmed people = peasants or slaves. Freedom hasn't been prevailing much these days. I'm hoping the good guys get a win on this issue. I will be working on the 8th, so I'm out. Otherwise I've been wanting to go tour the capital anyway. Would have been a good excuse.
