Sunday Rides!!

I know a number of people can't make events and rides on Saturday as they have to work. What if we also do some Sunday rides/events????

I am contemplating one for this Sunday.....tentative plans.....meet up somewhere either Loxley or Spanish Fort or somewhere.....then blast over to Pcola Beach to the Hooters on the boardwalk or any of a number of cool restaurants/bars at Pcola Beach...I really like that Boardwalk area. We could do lunch somewhere and then meander on back. Either directly...or take that little beach road all the way to Navare and come back a scenic route. Over on 98 in Gulf Breeze there is a neat little biker bar called Janet's Mustang Bar....on Sundays...they have Biker Sunday with free food, live music and beer/drink specials from 1-4pm.

Anyone game for something like this?

out of town working ,but once back sounds good to me,I have been to janet's mustang bar a few times runing solo good music and various bikes to look at. Will let you know when back in town end of the month.

Thanks for thinking about us when we work too much. Heading north Thursday and back Sunday. Tomorrow I will be getting everything ready to go. So it will be a couple of weeks before I can do a Sunday ride but I will let you know when we are back. It will be my pleasure to ride with you on Sundays.

Cool! We can save that ride to Pcola beach till you and Shovel get back. I may just go see a movie tomorrow...or just go fishing. My long term crystal ball is pretty much shot these days!

Sounds like an awesome idea... I started tearing up the floor/tile in the master bathroom Friday night, where a leaky toilet destroyed it. I need to get it to a state that it's usable by today..... I'd much rather go to Pensacola

OK!! I am finally in solidarity with you people that work on Saturday...I am being forced to work tomorrow.......laying down sod and other gross "honey do" list type stuff.....I would much rather be going on that ride with Jsteele.....alas....I have to make sacrifices.....

So.....that makes this Sunday pretty much a definite to ride out to Pcola Beach for lunch or brunch or whatever!!!! Maybe just a few beers or something but a nice ride of the whole thing...

So...of all you Saturday working people...who is game for a Pcole Beach ride on Sunday???????????????? Let me know!!!!

Yo Jim , How do you drink and ride ? I tried it once , years ago and wiped my a$$ out . Watch over him Lord . Amen ------------------I don't like to see good Bros. get hurt .

It is kinda like walking and chewing gum at the same time....though...I am still working on that one!

Not sure about the photo tag thing...probably leave around 9-10am time frame. Very flexible.

Slight delay. Had to wash the Deuce Coupe headed for the Beach in about 30 min or so. Gorgeous day for a ride!

Note to self: Never go to Pcola beach the same weekend as Deluna fest...parking is a real bear. Finally found that elusive parking spot and went to Flounders for an afternoon lunch. I love that place. Great food and that Diesel Fuel drink was very good. Wandered around the boardwalk and stopped in Bamboo Willies for a Bushwacker and to listen to some jams.....great island music! I need to go back there more often.

Hey Jim. Will have to wait a couple weeks on the ride. Need to make a few repairs to the scoot. Kinda laid it down in Ga. Nothing major. But need to tweek a couple things and get a new rear tire. HDcutet got a little road rash on her knees and elbows but no doctors visits for either of us. Was a good ride on the Cherahala skyway. Will start another thread with pics when I get them all downloaded.

Bummer on that whole laying it down thing. Hope not too bad and everyones road rash heals quick.

Jim, got back in town...but headed out again tomorrow be another couple weeks again. These back to back trips are screwing with my riding time.

I feel yer pain...until recently...I was doing that 100% travel thing too. Let me know when u r back in town and we can do some riding. We are gonna deuce Coupe it Saturday over to PCB for Thunder Beach.
