ABBA Shrine's Annual Joe Cain Ride- $10 Per Bike- Registration and line up starts @ 9AM-expected departure @ 12PM ( but escorts have been known to depart earlier because of street closures for parades, so be prepared to roll by 11:30AM). Law enforcement will escort the ride starting at ABBA Shrine Center and ending at a prime destination in downtown Mobile for viewing the Joe Cain Mardi Gras Festivities.

I will not be able to make it this year. Work fri and sat and too much lined up for sun. Hope you have fun though.

They have rescheduled all Sat parades for Sunday so that might be a bit of chaos involved for the ride. Plan accordingly.

I had business over that way today. I saw their ride heading into Mobile off Airport. Looked like a huge turnout. At least I think it was them, they had mass police escort and that in itself was pretty darn kewl.

The ride was just AWESOME ! I'm not sure exact number for the turn out but it was a very large group. And yes we had a lot of police escort from MPD and State Troopers... We left Abba Temple and headed North on Schillinger Rd to Airport Blvd, then down Govt Blvd then we rode the entire parade route.
Needless to say the whole thing was impressive even from a riders perspective. Cant waite till next year !!!
