ROLL CALL!!!!

I am just a member here, same as anyone. But Hayweed and some others have a point, in my opinion. 200+ members and less than a dozen active. Certainly no one expects anyone to yap and carry on half as much as I do. And I have found in my experiences that any sort of group online or not, has about a ten percent active membership. but we are less than that. And I realize this board is slow often, but the only way to make it active is to BE active. Post up news stories, road stories, whatever you want to talk about. Barring that, at least check in once in a while WE MISS WOO!!!!


But anyway, I personally think it is time for a house cleaning on old memberships. 200 looks sweet on board rosters, but it is to me just as aggravating for anyone trying to generate some enthusiasm around here, whether it be just for discussion or trying to put together a ride or a meetup. Again, personally, I would rather have an active membership of 50 than a dead one of a thousand.


So....check in please. Even if you just lurk. Some of us would like to know you are alive and at least enjoying some of our sillinesses around here.
And like has been mentioned, tons check in every day, but few are ever heard from.

I do lurk for the most part,but I always enjoy my visits here.

I lurk, I poke around, been known to post a time or two, and LOL at quite a bit of stuff...

self pruning.... guess it is more effective than using a 90 days pruning script protocol like most boards these days ( some even 30 days...eek)

most forums I have seen , it's more like five percent or less , I pondered the same thoughts with other forums ..

There' one HD forum I was on , three years old , 1500 members and maybe twenty active , and they run everybody off with the BS ..

I am always around lurking daily. I do put in my 2 cents worth every now and then. Oops now I'm down to a nickel. Oh well, I'll save that to report what I see at Thunder Beach this weekend.

I'm still lurking. I almost post more than I actually post. Have you ever typed out a reply only to hit the back button? I do it all the time. I feel like it's just rubbish, but if you want more rubbish I'll try to actually post something more often.

I count 26 members in the last 24 hrs. We still only have 13 votes for BOTM. I didn't know it is so hard for some people to point and click. It is a hard choice. But there are only two this month. Flip a quarter and vote.

I don't like BOTM, or those sig pics. It takes way to long to load the same pics everytime I come here. See why I don't post much.

I have no problems loading them, it is almost instant. What browser are you using, it should be caching them so they don't have to load every time you open a thread.

most forums , not this one apparently , give you an option in your profile for seeing pics and such

I posted the BOTM from my phone on 3G.

I'm around, but not as much as I use to be. Taking some classes on line and It's been a long time since I've had to be awake at 6:30 am Let alone ready for a Lab. I'll try to get here a little more often.

Well, if you are only coming here through a phone, I don't know anything about those types of browsers,lol. I don't have internet OR 3G on mine. but I haven't heard any complaints from anyone else for quite a while about load speeds so that might be a fight between you and your provider, not the site.

Must have AT&T. The slowest 3G in town.
