A friend of mine is selling his bike. It's a nice scoot....24,000 miles and very clean. I've seen this bike personally and ridden with the owner. He's asking $10,900, I believe. Y'all let me know if this link to the ad on Facebook works or not...

If he has limited content only for friends to see in his security settings, it will not let people view it. That may be the problem.

Nice looking bike...but.....seems pricey for this day and age......that money can get you a mid 2000's bike in good shape. Sorry...dont mean to rain on anyones parade...and hope he gets max $$ for it....but with today's economy...you can find some really good deals on late model used HD's in the sunday paper. 1998 is not only 13-14 years old...but evo vintage vice twin cam. The evo was fantastic when it came out...thousand times better than any older HD...but the twin cam was 1000's time better than the evo.

Really pretty bike. But yes I have to agree in this economy, that is a bit high.
I know you are just trying to help a friend though and I hope he gets his price.

NADA on one is below 8K. And I looked at one from CL awhile back of the same model and year when I was daydreaming about affording me and edera another two up ride. It was only $8500. We were forced to sell her 04 Night Train for even less than that.

That's about right. I would give 7 (if I had it to spare, I like that bike ) and tell him to keep the extras and ebay them.

He has a problem with his stuff. I bought my horse trailer from him. He was asking waaaaay too much and got him talked down quite a bit...finally. Unless someone stupid crosses his path, he's going to have that bike for a while.

Well unfortunately peeps think that awl their bling adds to the value .. No matter what is done it's still a fourteen year old bike ..

Not sure if anyone is interested but around the corner from me they are having an estate auction with lots of stuff....boats, RV stuff...and...a mid 2000 Kawasaki Nomad 1600. Sometimes you can get some real bargains at these auctions and sometimes not. I am gonna go over there as it is just the other side of my block......

That was a 2005 Kaw Nomad 1600...very nice.....no one offered the bottom line of 5K so it did not sell at the auction. If anyone is interested in it let me know and I will connect you with my neighbor selling it.
