North Georgia trip
So, I was able to take my bike to the mountains last week. We arrived home late this afternoon. I do not know how to upload a video, but here is a short clip of a stream we rode past. More stuff to follow.....Give the pictures time to show up....they are there.

Lake Blue Ridge landing, Water was so clean and blue/green.
A shot from the top of Amicacola Falls.
Blood mountain top. This is where I mainly rode. Its called the Suches loop or "The Georgia Dragon" which is partly on US129 which is the famous Dragon. http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/173/Georgia/Georgias-Dragon---The-Suches-Loop.html
Notice the boots hanging in the picture above? Look at this....The building is an outfitter on the Appalachian Trail. The trail actually goes through the building and into the woods on the other side. Anyway, hikers replace their boots and toss them into the tree. The inside was full of worn out boots of all kinds hanging in the rafters.
The Nantahala River.....we white water rafted it TWICE! 47 degree water....Some class 3 rapids, and 8.5 miles long down it in the raft.

The sound is not great.....keep in mind it was ALL shot by my wife riding behind me, and on her Blackberry! The wind hits its and makes all sorts of bad noises when she doesnt have it propped on my shoulder. Just saying.....

LOL well....I am sure you did it much faster than me and my old slow cruiser bike.......plus I had my umm....speed limiter gouging me in the ribswhen she didn't like how I was headed into some of the twisties. It was AWESOME weather the morning I rode through. 68 to start and not a drop of rain.
HWY 60 going South out of Blue Ridge is awesome! I liked it more than all the others I think.
A small diner we stopped in for breakfast. Home made biscuit, gravy and sausage for me. Wife had Bacon/egg/cheese biscuit and she loved it. Coffee was great too....$7 and we were off!
This is a picture of us riding down HWY 60. I just liked it because of the glare of the sunshine. It does show the curve though pretty well.
This stone house was off of HWY 60 just a tad. I like the grist mill stone thats cemented into the driveway barrier wall. Those things are valuable! (Yes, I watch American Pickers)
Here is another HWY 60 shot.......not shown was the 2 motorcycles that we met just on the other side. My wife gouged me at this hairpin pretty good.
