2 day tornado benefit Brierfield Ala. Aug 27 & 28

The Sons of Armageddon motorcycle club will be hosting a 2 day event at the Brierfield Ironworks park on Aug 27 and 28. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Salvation Army. Onsite camping as well as motels in Calera or Brent available. Also if I am not mistaken there will be a black powder shoot taking place at the park that same weekend.
Since this is only about 15 miles from my house I'd like to personally invite y'all to come on up and ride some curvy roads with elevation changes. I'll let you in on more details as soon as I can get them.

Is anyone planing this trip? I could probably do Early, early Saturday, come back Sunday afternoon. Google says 4 hours 16 minutes back roads (avoiding Highways). So about 6ish biking, lest it becomes a force ride. It would have to be a low cost run for me this week.

I have to work Sat and the scoot needs new tennis shoes.

I got to back out, I just checked the schedule I'll never make the ride. But IF some one else is game to try from the Fairhopian area, We would need to be on the road about 5 am and probably have to bullet the highway. I would have to have some fair notice. I'm staying logged in, I'll check back about 5ish then around 9ish. That's cutting close for sleep. I not sure I'll stay up there either.
